Core policy

Axt Software builds privacy-first software. We do not sell personal data and we do not use third-party advertising trackers in our apps.

Scope

This policy covers both axtsoftware.com and Axt Software apps. The studio-level principles below apply across products, and app-specific details are listed in the app sections on this page.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal data.
We do not run ad-network tracking SDKs in the reviewed app codebases.
We do not use tracking cookies for advertising.

Analytics

We use privacy-first analytics on the website to understand aggregate traffic and site reliability. This does not rely on ad-tracking cookies.

Campaign attribution

If you arrive through a campaign link containing UTM parameters, those campaign values are stored in sessionStorage for the current browser tab and may be included if you submit a relevant campaign form or support action. This uses first-party session storage and does not use advertising cookies or third-party advertising tracking.

Yes Theory concept validation

If you support the Yes Theory app concept, the website stores the time of support, limited referral or UTM source information when available, and a one-way technical identifier used to reduce repeat voting. A random campaign identifier is saved in your browser's local storage so your vote remains recognized across tabs, refreshes and ordinary network changes. The server combines that value with a private salt and stores only the resulting one-way hash; the original identifier contains no name, email address, IP address or device details.

Your optional answer about whether you would download the app is stored separately and linked only through the same anonymous identifier. No account, name, or email address is requested for either action. These records are used only to measure genuine interest in the concept and protect the public count from simple repeated clicks.

How app data is handled

Each app only processes data required for its features. Some apps operate mostly on-device, while others use connected services for accounts, sync, notifications, or billing. See each app section for exact details.

Third-party services

When you enable relevant features, apps may communicate with service providers such as cloud storage APIs, authentication/back-end platforms, notification services, or billing platforms. We list those providers per app below.
